Bringing Transparency & Control to Construction Operations

Introduction

In small and mid-sized construction businesses, owners rely on manual site visits to track attendance, inventory, and progress. This lack of real-time visibility causes delays, leakages, and burnout — capping growth to just a few parallel projects. That ceiling left owners with no way to scale past what they could personally oversee in a single day.

Owners ran sites by physically visiting them. Attendance, inventory, and progress were all manual — leakages and delays piled up, and the business couldn't scale past a few concurrent projects. No off-the-shelf tool existed built specifically around how a small Indian construction business actually operates day to day.

The Challenge

What We Were Up Against

Every workaround for not being on-site was manual, slow, or both. Paper trails, phone calls, and site visits all stood in for a system that should have existed already.

01

No Remote Visibility

Owners had to physically visit sites to know what was actually happening that day.

02

Leakage-Prone Processes

Manual attendance and inventory tracking left room for errors and losses no one could trace.

03

Multi-Role Coordination

Engineers, supervisors, owners, and clients each needed a different view of the same live site.

The Solution

How We Solved It

We replaced site visits with a multi-role, photo-driven workflow. Every action — attendance, inventory, progress, payments — happens in-app with proof, approvals, and notifications baked in. Nothing here was bolted on after launch — every workflow was designed proof-first from the start.

Five role-specific apps (engineer, supervisor, owner, client, admin) coordinated through a single workflow engine, with WhatsApp-based vendor ordering and Razorpay-backed payments. That same custom software build is now the foundation for a repeatable SaaS product aimed at other construction businesses facing the identical visibility problem.

The Impact

The Outcome

Replacing site visits with proof-backed workflows is what unlocked the 6× jump. That shift turned a single owner's operations tool into the blueprint for a SaaS product.

6× Project Capacity

The business scaled from 5 to 30 concurrent projects.

Proof-Backed Operations

Photo-based attendance and multi-angle progress logs replaced trust-based reporting.
